Important Notes
Before installation, check the kit contents and read the Ohlins Owner’s Manual. Ensure the vehicle is safely supported and clean before starting the installation process.
Mounting Instructions
Remove the original struts, fit the sleeve, dust boot, spring, spacer, upper spring seat, and lock nut. Tighten the lock nut to 35-40 Nm and adjust the spring seat and lock ring according to the figures.
Fasten the upper attachments to the vehicle, raise the wheel hub, and tighten the lower strut attachment bolts. Ensure all bolts are tightened to the correct torque and nothing fouls or restricts the strut’s movement.
Adjustments
Adjust the height adjuster lock ring according to the figures and tighten to 40-50 Nm. The preload is 5 mm from a free length of 200 mm, giving 195 mm installed length.
Recommended set-up: rebound setting, track 2-7, winding road 5-10, street 10-20. Spring preload adjuster: 1-10 clicks, 1 mm per click.
