Upgrade Procedures
Three procedures (B, C, and D) are outlined to upgrade the EVAP system, purge valve, and fuel cap, with varying requirements for powertrain and software updates.
Labour time and spare parts are specified for each procedure.
Workshop Instructions
Warning: Procedures must be performed on a cold engine, and fuel is extremely inflammable.
Instructions include tightening torque specifications and disassembly of various components, including the luggage compartment and engine hood.
A warning is given regarding the risk of electric shock when disconnecting the battery.
