Navigation System Overview
The navigation system uses GPS and a map database to show your current location and guide you to a desired destination.
Operating the System
You can operate the system using voice commands or the system controls. Voice commands are always available, and certain manual functions may be inoperable or grayed out while the vehicle is moving.
The system recognizes only the commands in the Voice Command Index. When using the Talk button, wait for a beep before saying a command.
Entering a Destination
You can enter a destination using several methods, including:
- Home Address: Store your home address in the system for easy routing.
- Street Address: Enter a street address using the map screen or voice commands.
- Place Category: Enter a destination using a point of interest or landmark.
- Recent Places: Select an address from a list of your 50 most recent destinations.
- Saved Places: Save locations so you can quickly route to them.
