This technical bulletin concerns the AEB warning light blinking on various Nissan vehicles. The issue may occur due to contamination or foreign material on the lane camera viewing window, snow or frost on the window, or temporary fogging. The warning light may also blink under certain driving conditions such as heavy rain, thick fog, or strong light shining from over the front of the vehicle.
Solution
Before replacing the lane camera, the technician should check the windshield for any issues and clean it as needed. The ESM should be referred to for further diagnostic information.
Important Notes
Nissan bulletins are intended for use by qualified technicians and not DIY enthusiasts. If a described condition may apply to a particular vehicle, the customer should not assume it does and should consult with a Nissan dealer to determine if it applies to their vehicle.
