Instructions for installing the External Ground Lighting Kit on a Nissan Rogue. The kit requires some basic tools and precautions.
Pre-installation, ensure the vehicle is in a safe working condition and the parking brake is applied.
First, locate the Extended Storage Switch in the cabin fuse block and check that it is in the “Customer position”. Remove the fuse cover lid and push down the shorting pin three times without turning the vehicle on to remove transit mode.
Next, remove panels and trim, prepare the mud guards, install LED Assemblies, route wiring, install the controller, and reinstall all panels. The installer should carefully follow the instructions to avoid damaging any components or scratching the paint.
After installation, test the kit’s functionality before doing any final clean-up and reinstallation of interior panels.
