Overview
The 2022 GMC Terrain is a new vehicle in the lineup, featuring a new front-end appearance, redesigned LED headlamps and taillamps, and an all-new AT4 model with standard AWD and unique off-road trim.
Infotainment and Connectivity
The GMC infotainment system features a 7-inch-diagonal color touchscreen on the SLE model, and an 8-inch-diagonal system on SLT, AT4, and Denali models. Navigation is available on SLE, SLT, and AT4 models, and a 4G LTE Wi-Fi hotspot is available on all models.
Driver Assistance Features
The GMC Pro Safety system is standard, featuring Automatic Emergency Braking, Forward Collision Alert, and Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning. GMC Pro Safety Plus is available on SLE, SLT, and AT4 models, adding Lane Change Alert with Side Blind Zone Alert, Rear Cross Traffic Alert, and Rear Park Assist.
Propulsion
The 2022 GMC Terrain is powered by a 1.5L Turbo engine and a nine-speed automatic transmission, offering FWD or AWD capabilities. EPA-estimated MPG rates are not yet available.
Optional Features
The Terrain offers a range of optional features, including a Tech Package with HD Surround Vision, a Head-Up Display, and Front and Rear Park Assist. A wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto system is also available, along with a built-in Amazon Alexa capability.
