Introduction
This manual provides installation and programming instructions for the Meir Chrvsler SWC (Steering Wheel Control) and Data Interface.
Compatibility
The interface is compatible with the following vehicles:
- Jeep: 2011-2014 Commander, 2008-2010 Compass, 2009-2017.5 Patriot, 2007-2017 Wrangler
- Mitsubishi: 2008-2019 Raider
- Ram: 2005-2011 1500/2500/3500, 2004-2013 Chassis Cab 3500/4500/5500
- Volkswagen: 2007-2011 Routan
Installation and Programming
The interface can be installed and programmed in two ways:
- Without Factory Amp Interface Box: Tie the Brown & Brown/White wires together and tape up, or use connector 2.
- With Factory Amp Interface Box: Connect the interface harness to the aftermarket radio harness and the vehicle connector.
After installation, program the interface by tapping the Volume Up button at a heartbeat pace until the LED light stops flashing.
Error Troubleshooting
If the interface fails to function, press and release the reset button, then repeat the programming process from step 4.
