Important Safety Information
This guide is for first responders and provides critical information for handling the McLaren P1 TM Hybrid LHD in emergency situations.
High Voltage System
The vehicle has a high voltage system with DC voltage up to 600 V. Do not touch high voltage systems identified by the orange cables.
In the event of a submerged or partially submerged vehicle, do not touch any high-voltage components or orange cables while extricating the occupant(s).
After a Road Traffic Collision (RTC)
Always assume the vehicle is live and wear high voltage insulating gloves (Rated to 1000 V) when attending the scene of a Road Traffic Collision (RTC) involving a McLaren P1.
Secure a safe area around the vehicle, stabilize and immobilize the vehicle, and open doors using one of the four methods provided.
