These installation instructions are designed for use within the BMW dealership organisation and by authorised BMW service companies.

Important information and guidelines are provided for the installation of the M Performance steering wheel II with Race Display.

Installation Time and Requirements

The installation time is approximately 1.5 hours, and the work must be completed using the latest BMW repair manuals, wiring diagrams, servicing manuals, and work instructions.

Installation Information and Precautions

Ensure that cables and lines are not kinked or damaged during installation, and secure additional cables/lines with cable ties.

Special instructions are provided for LHD and RHD cars.

Additional Information

Airbag module H is not included with the retrofit kit and can be transferred from the existing steering wheel if necessary.

Basic settings need to be carried out on the M Performance steering wheel after installation.
