Introduction
The Lotus Exige Cup 430 is the most extreme Exige ever conceived, with a new engine installation delivering 430 hp and 440 Nm of torque.
It features a new design generating 220 kg of downforce, with a power-to-weight ratio of 407 hp per tonne.
Performance
The Cup 430 can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 180 mph.
It also features a comprehensive range of new aero elements, including a new ultra-lightweight front clam and a larger, straight motorsport wing.
Handling and Aerodynamics
The car’s handling characteristics can be altered via the introduction of new Nitron three-way adjustable dampers and Eibach adjustable front and rear anti-roll bars.
The Cup 430 also features substantial Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres and ultra-lightweight forged alloy wheels.
Brakes and Safety
The car uses some of the largest calipers and rotors of any Lotus road car, with forged, four-piston AP Racing brake calipers and new performance two-piece, J-hook brake discs.
It also comes with a T45 steel roll over bar, new seatbelt anchorage frame, and a Lithium-ion battery as standard.
