Paint Suppliers
Lotus used two main paint suppliers: Pinchin, Johnson and ICI. Pinchin, Johnson was later taken over by Courtaulds, while ICI was acquired by Nexa Autocolor, which is now owned by PPG.
Paint Finishes
Lotus experimented with various paint finishes, including nitro-cellulose paint, and sometimes sold cars to dealers in primer, allowing for custom colours.
