Vehicle Identification
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) is stamped on a plate fixed to the right or left-hand front wheelarch inside the front luggage compartment.
This number, together with the engine number, should be quoted in all enquiries regarding the vehicle.
The seventeen characters of the VIN are coded, with separate serial number sequences used for different markets.
