Squawk Noise From Brake Actuator
This repair manual addresses a squawk/bark noise from the brake actuator when depressing and/or releasing the brake pedal in 2007-2017 model year LS460/LS460L and 2008-2016 model year LS600h vehicles.
The repair procedure involves bleeding the brake system, checking and updating the skid control ECU calibration, and replacing the brake actuator if necessary.
Warranty Information
This repair is covered under the Lexus Basic Warranty for 48 months or 50,000 miles, whichever occurs first, from the vehicle’s in-service date.
