Affected Vehicle Range

The affected models include LR2 (LF) from 2013-2015, Discovery Sport (LC) from 2015-2017, and Range Rover Evoque (LV) from 2012-2017.

Condition Summary

A rattle noise from the engine compartment and/or the Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) being illuminated, with possible Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs) POO16, POO17, P0026, or P0341, may indicate a component failure in the intake camshaft Variable Cam Timing (VCT) actuator.

Action

Technicians should refer to the Component Location and Service Information, and then follow the Workshop Procedure to address the concern.
