Vehicle Preparation
Disconnect ground and power leads from battery, remove front grille and panel, and “A” Frame support assembly.
Interior
Remove speakers, fuse box cover, and modify oval firewall rubber plug. Drill a 2″ hole in the footwell and fit a grommet.
Engine Compartment
Assemble compressor to mount bracket, install compressor and bracket assembly to engine block, and route compressor V-belt.
Receiver-Drier Installation
Install receiver-drier and bracket assembly to RH frame rail.
Condenser Fan Assembly Installation
Install condenser fan assembly to chassis rail and grill panel fix points.
Electrical Harness and Charge System
Lay harness over engine, plug into condenser fan and compressor, and charge the vehicle A/C system with R134a refrigerant gas.
