Emergency Response Guide
The Kia Soul EV is an electric vehicle that requires special caution during emergency scenarios. Exercise extreme care and caution to avoid contact with the high voltage system within the vehicle.
Identification of the Kia Soul EV can be done through the “Eco electric” logo on the tailgate and front charge port door, as well as through the Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) label.
Important steps for emergency responders include immobilizing and disabling the vehicle, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and removing metallic jewelry.
Charging Port
The charging port is located on the front left bumper and can be opened by pressing the unlock door button, moving the shift lever to Park, applying the Electric Parking Brake, turning off the vehicle, and opening the charging door.
