The base engine is a 1.6L 4-cylinder paired with a CVT transmission, producing up to 47-hp. The Turbo trim boasts a 6L turbocharged engine delivering up to 210-hp and paired with a 7-speed automatic transmission.
Exterior and Interior
Exterior color options include 10 different hues, including two-tone combinations, while interior choices feature either Black Syn Tex or high-quality woven cloths, with no leather option. The spacious cabin offers plenty of room, with a generous 62 cubic feet of cargo space.
Features and Technology
Nice touches include ambient lighting, keyless entry, heated seats and steering wheel, wireless smartphone charging, and an 8-inch or 10.3-inch infotainment display depending on the trim level. For the Turbo model, an optional Harman Kardon sound system is also available.
ADAS Features
ADAS features are not standard but can be added extras. The rear seats don’t fully flatten for extra storage space, yet still offer generous 62. cubic feet cargo capacity.
The Kia Soul is an attractive option with a starting price of just $19,190, making it extremely competitive and affordable. The top-end Turbo trim falls well under $30,000.
