Design and Features
The Niro boasts a brand new form, with a sleek, aerodynamic body and subtly sculptured surfaces. It features a compact SUV shape, with smooth proportions and a relatively wide stance.
The interior has been designed to give an impression of space and modernity, with a wide dashboard and defined horizontal lines.
Powertrain and Performance
The Niro combines a 1.6-litre GDI engine, lithium-ion polymer battery pack, 32 kW electric motor, and six-speed double-clutch transmission to achieve ultra-low emissions and high fuel economy.
The powertrain emits just 88 g/km CO2 (combined) and is capable of using just 3.8 litres of gasoline for every 100 km of driving.
Safety and Technology
The Niro features advanced safety technologies, including Kia’s Vehicle Stability Management and Electronic Stability Control, as well as predictive driving assistance to maximize efficiency in all driving conditions.
The car also features a range of measures to reduce noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH), ensuring a refined driving experience.
