This guide provides essential information for emergency responders to safely handle emergency scenarios involving the KIA Niro EV.
Identification and Recognition
The Niro EV can be identified by the orange color cables under the floor and hood, and the charging port located on the front of the vehicle.
The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) can be found in three locations: under the front passenger seat, on the top of the dashboard, or on the vehicle certification label.
Emergency responders should exercise extreme caution when dealing with the Niro EV, as the high voltage safety systems may be compromised, presenting a potential electrical shock hazard.
