Installation Guidelines
The installation of the Powersteptm system requires a professional install, 3-5 hours, and a skill level of 3-4 (experienced). The necessary tools include safety goggles, measuring tape, sockets, wrenches, wire crimpers, wire stripper, drill, and drill bits.
Motor Assembly
The motor must be handled with care, as dropping it or excessive impact may cause damage. The instructions are as follows: position the gear cover, seat the motor, and fasten it with three motor mount screws.
Linkage Assembly
The linkage assemblies must be installed separately for the driver and passenger sides. Make sure to use the correct screws and washers. The light mounting bracket must be installed with the correct orientation.
