Locks and Doors
The Jaguar Smart Key can be used to lock and unlock the doors and luggage compartment. If the doors are locked, operating the release lever will unlock and open the door.
The emergency key blade can be used to unlock the vehicle if the Jaguar Smart Key is inoperable. It is also used to access the luggage compartment in Valet mode.
Mislock
If one of the doors, the bonnet, or the luggage compartment are not shut fully when the vehicle is locked, two audible error warnings will sound.
If one or both doors fail to lock properly, two audible error warnings will sound and one or more of the doors may not be locked.
