Cause and Action
The issue is caused by old stock driver door window switchpacks not having the required sealing tape installed, leading to water ingress.
To rectify the issue, the driver door window switchpack must be replaced with a new one, and the new switchpack must have sealing tape installed.
Repair Procedure
The repair procedure involves removing and discarding the old switchpack, inspecting the new switchpack, applying sealing tape if necessary, and then reassembling the switchpack.
