Technical Bulletin Summary

This technical bulletin addresses a ‘howl’ noise issue from the automatic transmission oil cooler on low-speed overrun in certain Jaguar models.

Affected Vehicles

F-PACE (X761) Model Year: 2017 Onwards, XE (X760) Model Year: 2017 Onwards, XF (X260) Model Year: 2016 Onwards

Cause and Solution

The noise is caused by the automatic transmission oil cooler transmitting an oil flow noise through the front subframe, resulting in excessive Noise, Vibration and Harshness (NVH) in the cabin area. The solution involves replacing the NVH pad on the automatic transmission oil cooler bracket.
