Vehicle Description

The Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid is a five-door hatchback that uses a conventional gasoline powered internal combustion engine paired with a high-voltage electric motor to propel the vehicle.

The high-voltage electrical system is self-contained and does not need to be recharged by an external power source.

Identifying a Hyundai Hybrid Vehicle

The Hyundai IONIQ Hybrid can be identified by the ‘hybrid’ and ‘IonIQ’ badge on the trunk lid and the ‘BLUE-DRIVE’ badge on the left side of the vehicle.

The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) also indicates that it is a hybrid with a ‘C’ in the 8th position.
