Important Safety Information
When responding to an emergency involving an IONIQ 5 N, exercise extreme caution and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to avoid contact with the high-voltage system.
Do not attempt to remove the safety plug while standing in water, and never cut or disconnect the high-voltage orange cabling and connectors without first disabling the system.
Identification and Recognition
The IONIQ 5 N EV can be identified by the brand logo on the hood and the model name “IONIQ 5” on the tailgate.
The VIN (Vehicle Identification Number) can be found on the VIN plate, vehicle certification label, or underneath the front passenger seat.
The 8th position of the VIN will display a “3”, “6”, or “8” to identify an electric car.
