This manual provides instructions for the installation of an Arnott air suspension product on a Mercedes-Benz CLS-Class (W219).
Important Safety Notes: The air suspension system is under pressure and must be relieved before disassembly. Proper lifting and immobilizing of the vehicle is essential to prevent personal injury or property damage.
Only fully qualified, ASE Certified professionals should perform the installation.
Front Air Strut Removal
Steps to remove the front air strut include:
- Set the steering to straight ahead.
- Raise the vehicle and remove the front wheels.
- Locate and remove the upper control arm ball joint nut.
- Separate the ball joint from the spindle assembly.
- Remove the sensor lines from brackets.
