This installation guide is for the off-road bumper winch on the 2023+ Chevy Colorado/GMC Canyon. The guide is divided into 14 steps, starting with determining if the Center Console Auxiliary Switch is unused and ending with releasing the wire retainers.
Preparation Required
Raise and support the vehicle, remove the front wheel and tire assemblies, and partially remove the passenger side front wheel liner.
Winch Preparation
Peel back the rear half of the wheel house liner, remove the driver and passenger side front bumper fascia molding, and remove the plastic fog lamp bezel.
Disconnect the light bar harness, fog lamps, and electrical connectors, and remove the front bumper impact bar, front license plate bracket, and front bumper fascia skid plate.
