Introduction
This installation guide is for the Safari V-SPEC SNORKEL system on a Land Rover Defender with a Duratec 2.4 litre Common-Rail Diesel Engine.
Special Tools Required
Step Drill, Sikaflex 227 adhesive sealant, Pop-rivet gun, Masking Tape, Touch-up paint, Loctite threadlock, and Blue Removable.
Fitting Time
120 minutes.
Before starting the installation, verify that all components are correct, particularly the template (Item 12).
Remove and discard the panel-mounted air intake grille, guard inspection plate, and wheel arch flare according to the factory service manual.
Remove the upper radiator shroud, air cleaner top, air cleaner element, and turbocharger inlet hose according to the factory service manual.
