Introduction
The PORSCHE front camera (dashcam) is a retrofitting option for Cayenne (9YA) models from 2018 onwards. It is installed on the windscreen and connected to the vehicle electrical system, allowing for video recordings of driving situations and while parking.
The dashcam can be configured and operated using a related app on a smartphone, and recorded videos are stored on the supplied SD card.
Important Information for Customers
Customers should download and install the “Porsche Dashcam App” on their device and perform a firmware update via the app if necessary. Customers are responsible for choosing the right “Region/ State/ Country” and updating it when crossing national borders.
