Introduction
This manual provides instructions for the installation and conversion of the Sports Exhaust System for the Porsche Boxster (981) models from 2013 and later.
Important Notes
The sports exhaust system is activated and deactivated using the new switch console with the additional ‘Twin tailpipe’ button. The system can also be activated by pressing the ‘Sport’ and ‘Sport Plus’ buttons.
The sports exhaust system is available as a factory-installed option for new vehicles by requesting optional equipment ‘XLF’.
Parts and Tools
A list of required parts and tools is provided, including the sports exhaust system, sports tailpipe, combined switch, and various other components.
The necessary tools include the PIWIS Tester, Assembly tool, and Socket-wrench insert.
Work Procedure
