  1. Do not exceed the lower of the towing manufacturer’s rating or the specific amperage ratings stated on the product.
  2. Take safety precautions during installation, including wearing safety glasses.
  3. Consult the vehicle owner’s manual for locations of fuses and relays if not equipped with OEM trailer tow package.

Installation Steps:

Locate the vehicle’s electric brake control harness connector.

Remove the driver’s side kick panel.

Connect the brake control harness to the vehicle’s connector, being careful not to break the locking tabs.

Plug the brake control adapter into the vehicle electric controller connector.

Complete the installation according to the manufacturer’s instructions and mount the unit as directed.

Perform test procedures as instructed.

Vehicles not equipped with OEM trailer tow package may require fuses and relays to complete output and battery feed circuits (sold separately).
