This document announces two safety recalls issued by Ford for vehicles in North America.
Recall 1: 2018 Ford F-650 and F-750 Vehicles with Hydraulic Brake Systems
A total of 151 vehicles are affected, which may have inadequate parking brake cable tension, leading to reduced parking brake performance and unintended vehicle movement.
Recall 2: 2018 Ford EcoSport Vehicles with Incorrect Brake Fluid Reservoir Caps and Owners’ Manual Kits
A total of 273 vehicles are affected, which may have European brake fluid reservoir caps and European owners’ manual kits instead of the U.S. versions required by federal motor vehicle safety standards.
Dealers will replace the brake fluid reservoir cap and owners’ manual kit with the versions required by federal motor vehicle safety standards at no cost to the customer.
