Issue

Vehicles may exhibit a no start complaint due to a repetitive intermittent flat battery.

Cause

The intermittent cause could be related to a number of factors including but not limited to: quiescent drain, faulty battery, module software, and wiring continuity.

Action

When diagnosing a flat battery, please utilize the TOPIx Workshop Manual instructions outlined in section 414-01 “Battery; Mounting and Cables Flat Battery Diagnosis and Testing”.
