Fitting Instructions
This manual provides instructions for fitting an alternative push-button starter switch for early Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow and Bentley T Type models.
There are three variations of the starter switch installation:
Variations:
1. Very early models with no ballast resistor: UD4I8I with 3 connectors
2. Early Shadows with ballast resistor: UD| 3627 with 4 connectors
3. Later models: RH83 |2 with no push button facility for manual starting
Important: If your car has the original switch with 4 connectors, fit the diode supplied between the large Lucar terminal at the switch and the WG-P cable.
