Recall Campaign 5268
This manual outlines a recall campaign for all Fiat Grande Punto models to check and correct the rear axle stands’ attachment to the bodyshell.
Reason for Recall
The rear axle stands may not be correctly attached, which could affect the safety of the vehicle, causing rear noise and potentially leading to ruptured stands.
Procedure
Dealers are instructed to check the front bolts on the rear axle stands and replace any missing bolts or stands. The screws fixing the stands to the bodyshell must be tightened to 8 daNm.
Additional procedures include bleeding the brakes and adjusting the wheel geometry.
