This technical bulletin aims to provide an update on the replacement of steering wheel mounted turn indicator buttons for certain Ferrari models. As of July 2015, the parts are available as spare components for the 458 Italia, 458 Spider, 458 Speciale, 458 Speciale A, FF, F12 Berlinetta, and California T models.
Important: Before proceeding, ensure you work on a grounded anti-static mat, wearing anti-static gloves or an anti-static wrist band.
Disassembly
Disconnect the battery, remove the steering wheel control panel, and release the turn indicator button cables from the clips.
Refitting
Fit and fasten the new turn indicator buttons onto the steering wheel control panel, tightening the screws to the specified torque. Finally, reconnect the battery and refit the steering wheel control panel.
