Recall Campaign Overview

Ferrari has issued a recall for certain F12 Berlinetta and F12 tdf models manufactured between 2013 and 2017 (VIN No. 193090 to VIN No. 230322 FGO America). The recall addresses a problem with the brake fluid reservoir cap, which may not vent properly, causing a vacuum inside the reservoir. This can potentially lead to a partial or total loss of braking capability.

Remedy

Ferrari will repair the vehicle free of charge by replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and updating the Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software for some models. This repair is required to ensure the car’s braking system works correctly.

Parts Involved

The following parts are necessary for implementing the recall: Brake Fluid Reservoir Cap (000810768), Adhesive Leaflet RC8O (079641778), and Update of Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software.

Services Under Warranty

A refund will be made for the costs incurred by implementing the recall. The Warranty Claim must be submitted with the following information: Campaign number, Cost code, Malfunction code, Problem code, Operation Code, and Time.
