Recall Campaign Overview
Ferrari has issued a recall campaign for certain F12 Berlinetta and F12 tdf models manufactured from 2013 to 2017 due to a problem with the brake fluid reservoir cap that may not vent properly, potentially leading to a partial or total loss of braking capability.
The recall involves replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and, for some models, updating the Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software. Ferrari will provide a supplementary adhesive leaflet to update the description of the “Low Brake Fluid Level” warning light in the Owner’s Manual.
Affected Vehicles
VIN numbers 193090 to 230322 are affected.
Remedy
Ferrari will repair the vehicle free of charge, and the repair involves replacing the brake fluid reservoir cap and updating the Instrument Panel Node (NQS) software for some models.
