The installation instructions provided by Eibach Springs Inc. detail the process of installing the Eibach Front Bar Anti-Roll Kit on the 2018+ Kia Stinger, GT, 3.3L, AWD & RWD. This manual is intended for qualified mechanics with experience in suspension component installation and removal.
Installation Steps
The process begins by raising the vehicle and supporting it with the proper safety equipment, then removing the front wheels.
Removal of Front Bar and End Links
Loosen and remove the hardware that secures the end links from both the left and right side struts, as well as the hardware that secures the bushing brackets to the frame. Carefully note the orientation of the OE bar and install the Eibach bar in the same orientation.
Installation of Eibach Front Bar
Apply poly lubricant to the Eibach front bushings and install them onto the Eibach bar. Remove the end links from the ends of the OE bar and install them onto the ends of the Eibach bar. Secure the provided zerk fitting into the Eibach bushing bracket and install the Eibach bar onto the strut.
Double check all hardware to ensure proper positioning and tightening, then reinstall the underbody cover using the OE hardware.
Adjustment of Eibach Front Bar
The Eibach Front Bar has two adjustment settings: softest and firmest. The softest setting reduces under-steer and is recommended for use in rain or on slick roads, while the firmest setting reduces over-steer and is recommended for use on dry roads and tracks.
