The Dodge Nitro has a powerful presence on the streets with its commanding stance, bold grille, and sporty performance. The 3.7-liter SOHC V6 engine produces 210 horsepower and 235 lb-ft of torque, standard on SXT and SLT models, while the Nitro R/T features a 4.0-liter V6 with 260 horsepower and 265 lb-ft of torque. A six-speed manual or available four-speed automatic transmission is paired with the engine.
Suspension and Wheels
The Nitro’s performance-tuned suspension works in tandem with 20-inch chrome-clad wheels and tires for improved cornering and increased traction. Available 4WD allows the driver to switch between two-wheel drive and four-wheel drive on the fly.
