Program Overview
This program provides a no-cost, one-time repair to the front brake flexible hoses for 10 years of service or 150,000 miles from the warranty start date of the vehicle, whichever occurs first.
Affected Vehicles
The program covers certain 2015-2018 Model Year Edge and 2013-2018 Model Year Fusion vehicles.
Reason for Repair
In some affected vehicles, brake fluid may leak from one or both front brake flexible hoses, which can cause the brake fluid warning indicator light to illuminate and affect the rate of deceleration.
Service Action
Dealers are to replace both front brake flexible hoses and perform a brake system bleed if an affected vehicle exhibits this condition.
