Program Overview

This program is a one-time service to address customer concerns about exhaust or carbon monoxide in 2011-2017 Ford Explorer vehicles.

Service Action

Dealers are to reprogram the climate control module and replace the lift gate drain valves at no charge to the vehicle owner.

Program Terms

This program is in effect through July 31, 2022, with no mileage limit.

Owners can take their vehicles to a Ford dealer to have this service performed, regardless of mileage or warranty status.
