The CorkSport Mazda2 Front Sway Bar is designed to reduce oversteer or understeer by complementing other suspension upgrades on your Mazda 2. This manual provides step-by-step instructions for installation.
Pre-Installation Notes: Make sure your vehicle is completely cooled down prior to starting installation.
The installation process consists of five main steps:
Step 1: Remove the Factory Front Sway Bar
Remove the front end link from the strut and sway bar, and then place a jack under the subframe for support.
Step 2: Install the CorkSport Front Sway Bar
Grease the supplied bushings and install on the CorkSport front sway bar. Install the brackets over the bushings and secure the brackets using the factory bolts.
Step 3: Reinstall the Subframe and Braces
Reinstall the subframe, and then install the subframe braces by reinstalling the 14mm bolts.
Step 4: Reinstall the End Link and Front Wheels
Reinstall the end link that connects the sway bar to the strut, and then remount the front wheels.
Step 5: Final Check and Test Drive
Double check all hardware and make sure the sway bar bushings are properly greased. Take the car for a brisk drive and check for any noises or creaks.
