Technical Specifications
The BMW i3 and i3s are electric vehicles with a CFRP passenger cell and an aluminium chassis. They have a length of 4011 mm, width of 1775 mm, and height of 1571 mm. The vehicles have a wheelbase of 2570 mm and a track width of 1598 mm.
The electric motor uses BMW eDrive technology and has a maximum output of 125 kW (170 hp) for the i3 and 135 kW (184 hp) for the i3s. The high-voltage battery has a capacity of 42.2 kWh and an energy content of 37.9 kWh.
The vehicles have a range of up to 359 km for the i3 and 330 km for the i3s, and can be charged from 0 to 80% in 45 minutes from a fast-charging station.

The i3 has a power-to-weight ratio of 10.2 kg/kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.3 seconds. The i3s has a power-to-weight ratio of 9.6 kg/kW and accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds.
