Pass Thru Assistant Capabilities & Cost
This manual provides information on the capabilities and costs of the Pass Thru Assistant (PTA) for BMW vehicles 2002 and newer.
Supported Modules
The PTA supports updating and replacement of various modules, including:
- Emission module (ECM/TCM/PCM)
- Body and Chassis module
- J2534 module programming
Module calibration checks are also available for $50.00 USD each.
Important Notes
Some vehicles may require a hard-wired internet connection, and certain modules may need to be scanned using OEM software to determine if an update is available.
Programming may take up to 4 hours to complete, and some vehicles may require additional fees for security-related modules.
