Introduction

The Bentley Drivers Club Motorsport Trophy Regulations define the rules and guidelines for motorsport events, emphasizing the importance of maintaining the “Spirit of the Marque” and adhering to the highest standards commensurate with the Bentley name.

General Regulations

All competing cars must be roadworthy and conform to the Road Traffic Acts and MOT test requirements. The Competitions Committee has the discretion to rule on car eligibility, and competitors are advised to consult with the Committee before making any modifications.

Group Definitions

The regulations define four groups: A (Pre-War Bentley), B (Crewe Bentley, Post-War to Pre-1960), C (Crewe Bentley, Post-1960), and D (Crewe Bentley Continental GT and other Bentleys not eligible for Groups A, B, or C).

Each group has specific rules and guidelines for engine, chassis, axles, brakes, suspension, gearbox, bodywork, and other components.
