This document outlines the limited lifetime warranty and terms of use for Link Engine Management Ltd’s Engine Control Units (ECUs). The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but does not apply to ECUs not properly installed or used. The user is responsible for ensuring the correct version of the software programme is installed and for the setup and testing of user-configurable features.
The ECU contains a user-configurable software programme, which is updated by Link Engine Management Ltd. The user must download the current correct version of the programme from the company’s website and install it in the ECU prior to use.
Warranty and License Agreement
This manual includes the limited lifetime warranty and Link Engine Management Ltd’s license agreement for the software programme. The warranty and licence terms are outlined in the following sections:
Warranty
This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship, but does not apply to ECUs not properly installed or used.
License Agreement
This software programme is licensed, not sold, and the user is granted a licence to use the programme in the country where it was acquired. The programme may only be used on one machine at a time and must be destroyed if the licence is terminated.
