In the case of accidents, the high-voltage system is deactivated. To manually deactivate, switch off the ignition, disconnect the negative terminals of the 12V battery, and use the Service-Disconnect.
The electric motor is silent, and the vehicle may start automatically even when the instrument cluster is not on the “OFF” position.
Disconnecting High-Voltage Components
Disconnect the negative terminals of the 12V batteries, either by releasing the luggage compartment floor or by lifting it up with a crowbar.
Identification of high-voltage components is crucial, and they should not be disconnected or damaged.
