All A5 petrol engines feature FSI technology, which injects precisely the right amount of fuel and air into the combustion chambers, reducing heat-loss and increasing output.
Audi’s TDI diesel engines, originally pioneered in 1989, are designed for power, performance, low fuel consumption, and emissions.
All A5 TDI engines are based on the common rail system, which stores fuel at constant pressures of up to 1,600 bar, ready to feed highly accurate piezo injectors.
