Important Safety Precautions

The fuel system is pressurized, and the fuel pressure must be reduced to a residual pressure prior to opening.

When using testers and measuring instruments during a road test, they must be secured on the rear seat and operated from that position by a second person.

General Notes

The engine control unit has a self-diagnosis capability, and the fault memory must be interrogated before carrying out repairs and fault finding.

The vacuum hoses and connections must be checked, and fuel hoses in the engine compartment must only be secured with spring-type clips.

A voltage of at least 11.5 V is required for proper operation of the electrical components.
